Today, we’d like to introduce you to Desiree DiClemente DiSalvo. Desiree was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Danielle Del Sordo and Brandegee Pierce.

Q: Hi Desiree, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.

A: I’m a South Florida native who grew up on the beaches of Broward County. Some of my favorite memories are walking on the beach collecting seashells with my grandmother and searched for creatures in the seaweed with my dad. My parents were hippies and taught me young to protect and respect Mother Nature. I watched our beautiful coastline change from seashells scattered on the sand to plastic pollution gathering on our shoreline.
